INGREDIENTS
01Make the burger sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and Mighty Salt™ Smoky Umami Flavored Salt until well combined. Set aside.
02Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions (about 4 oz each). Roll each portion into a loose ball and season with Mighty Salt™ Smoky Umami Flavored Salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
03Heat a large cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place each ball on the hot flat top and set a tortilla on top. Using a heavy spatula or burger press, smash the beef ball flat into the tortilla until it spreads out and sticks to it. Let them cook for 1 minute, then press down on top of each tortilla again, which will get some of the fat out for the edges to cook in. Then let it cook undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes.
04Flip the taco so the tortilla is now on the pan and place a slice of American cheese on the beef side. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then remove from heat.
05Spread a layer of burger sauce over each taco. Top with shredded lettuce, diced onions, pickles and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!
