What You'll Need

INGREDIENTS

  • Check 2 packs fresh or frozen udon noodles (about 14 oz.)
  • Check 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • Check ½ cup protein of choice (chicken, tofu, or shrimp), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Check ½ onion, sliced
  • Check 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Check 1 cup chopped bok choy
  • Check ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • Check ½ cup sliced red bell pepper
  • Check 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Check 1 tsp Mighty Salt™ Original Umami Flavored Salt
  • Check 1 tsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • Check ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Check 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Check 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

01Prepare the udon noodles according to the package instructions. If using frozen noodles, blanch them in hot water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and set aside.


02Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add protein and cook until done; remove and set aside.


03Add onion and cook 2 minutes or until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add bok choy, mushrooms and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.


04Add udon noodles, soy sauce, Mighty Salt™ Original Umami Flavored Salt, oyster sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring everything is well combined


05 Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
